High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) spray coating is an advanced surface engineering process used to enhance the wear and corrosion resistance of various components. In this process, a fuel gas, typically hydrogen or kerosene, is combusted with oxygen in a high-pressure chamber, generating a high-temperature, high-velocity jet. Powdered coating material, often composed of metals, alloys, or ceramics, is introduced into this jet, where it is heated and accelerated toward the substrate at supersonic speeds. The resulting coating is dense, with strong adhesion to the substrate and minimal porosity. HVOF spray coatings are widely employed in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and power generation, where components are subjected to extreme operational environments. This coating method significantly extends the service life of parts, reduces maintenance costs, and improves overall performance.
